Being easy to fill, attach & clean this product is the best I’ve tried so far, & I’ve tried a half dozen. It’s such a joy to watch these little guys suck up the juice. Usually a couple will latch on to it with the male taking precedence. If he’s feeding she stays away. They’ll feed 4 or 5 times an hour, sunup to sundown. Since they’re fiercely territorial you’re not likely to see a lot of varieties at the same feeder. I bought 5…

  2. This hummingbird feeder is for the birds-they love it! I’ve always had good luck with this style, seems sturdy. Love to have those little guys right up at my window so I can enjoy their antics. Would buy again.

We love this feeder. Here’s why in a nutshell: The couch is in front of the window that this is mounted on, and so the hummingbirds feed about three feet from our eyes! It’s amazing being so close. They are so cute. We have other feeders, but this is our very favorite. We have owned this about 18 months.

    PROS:

    1) It does not leak at all.

    2) It is easy to fill without spilling anything. No mess.

    3) It is easy to clean. I just flush it out with hot tap water between fillings.

    4) The suction cup holds firmly to the window. It has never fallen off.

    5) The birds feed on this thing many times a day and seem to love it as much as we do!

    6) The birds are so close, that cat and dog love to sit on the couch or by the window and watch the birds too!

    CONS:

    1) One of the perches broke off soon after I bought it. It was due to my rough handling. I glued it back on and handle it more gently now. After doing that, it has been fine all last year and so far this year too.

    2) The clip holding the clear part to the red base broke off right away, but it does not matter. The two main parts hold together with a nice snug pressure fit, and the clip is actually not needed at all.

All in all I would have given it 5 stars except for the plastic clip and perch breaking. The clip is not needed and the perch was easily glued back on. If I would have been more careful, the perch would not have broken in the first place. Again, we love this little feeder! I added a customer image of what we see from our couch.

If you like birds you will like this. IF the hummingbird comes to your feeder you can see him very close up. Watch out for ants.

    SWEET!

    .

One of the BETTER window-mount hummie-bird feeders around.

Inexpensive, easy to clean, will last 2 – 3 seasons.

Be careful squeezing the latches – after a couple of years, they will crack off. High heat and sun will speed aging of the plastic!

    .

The perches are ideally suited for watching the little critters through a window. Feeders with 3 perches put one perch in a spot that is invisible from inside your house, and the birds will NATURALLY pick that perch – cuz they can’t see YOU either! Also, no matter how many perches you have, you will only EVER have ONE humming bird at a time on your feeder. The little boogers are SO territorial that they will NOT feed until they have chased any OTHER birds away!

    .

This is kind of funny to watch – - TWO humming birds will STARVE – they’ll spend all their time chasing each other away from the feeder. THREE birds work out fine: While 2 are off fighting, the third one gets to eat lunch.

    .

Our cats LOVE to sit on the table and watch the birds come up to the window. We call it: “Cat TV”
