The 8-1/2" diameter tray has a impressive capacity of 1-1/4 quart, and the seed is protected by a generous 12" diameter dome. We have used stainless steel and solid brass hardware that lets you fully adjust the distance between the dome and tray, thus restricting access to the seed by undesirable birds and squirrels.
