Birdscapes® 279 Deluxe Rose Petal Hummingbird Feeder, 12 oz capacity
So far this has been a great feeder. The hummingbirds love it. I need to find a small brush to clean it because the opening to the bottle is small but other than that is fine. I bought this product because the hummingbirds can perch while feeding and it is only 12oz. You don’t need a bigger feeder when you have to change the sugar water every week.
I recommend this product to anyone looking for a feeder.

This is my favorite feeder if you consider the built in ant moat. I think I get a higher level of activity when there is a perch there for the bids to sit a little while. (Although they often do not let each other enjoy a respite from the day!)

About 2 to 3 weeks ago, bees found my old hummingbird feeder. And I started to find more and more dead bees every time I cleaned my old feeder. There were more than 15 bees inside my feeder when I cleaned my old feeder last week. Some of them were still barely alive. I stopped using that feeder and did a google and researched each model. I found this model and ordered one from Amazon. (It’s available from ACE too. But my local store didn’t stock it.)
I received this new feeder last Wednesday. And It works !!!!!
No bees now, not even one. The feeding openings are small enough that bees cannot get in. And I used to have lot of ants coming too. Now, no ant either.

had 3 of these and needed more. found 1 in the store and paid $16.00 for it and then got on here and found it cheaper and bought 3 more and now I have 7..The hummers just love it..I can’t seem to keep it full..I use 2 different brushes to clean it..A curved one for the feeding tray and a brush that will bend for the glass.Yes they take a little more time to clean but well worth it.I have had 3 of these for years and they are still as good as when I bought them..No leaks and they are heavy enough that even in the wind they don’t spill..I promise your hummers will love it and I wouldn’t buy anything else…

We have had one of these for 2 years now and it’s the best feeder we have ever owned. The small white feeder ports discourage bees and wasps from visiting the feeder. It has an ant moat on top if needed. We bought 2 more and will eventually replace all our other type feeders with this feeder.
