Unlike the other reviewer, I have had a great experience with this feeder. It did leak once, but that was due to user error! If you don’t over tighten the bottom, it won’t leak unless you buy a faulty one (which happens sometimes) or the liquid starts to ferment (in hot, humid climates, the liquid needs to be changed out and the bottle and bottom washed every day).

My only concern when I bought this was that there was no place for the hummingbirds to sit. However, they very quickly discovered that they could grab the edge quite comfortably.

The feeder is pretty, functional and easy to clean!

My bird feeder continually leaked (no matter how many times I tried to reattach the bottom compartment more tightly). I never once saw a hummingbird come to this constantly dripping feeder. After a full season in 2008 (with it never being utilized by birds) I finally threw out the lower portion (feeder part) and kept the very attractive green bottle for a decorative flower vase.
