How to hang a bird feeder off a tree branch I can’t reach?
There is a tree branch perfect to hang a bird feeder from. However, it is too high for me to reach to erect or to refill. I am wondering if there is some kind of light-duty pulley or hoist I could use to put over the tree branch and raise and lower the bird feeder.

We hung our new bird feeder on a ceiling hook on our back deck, however we haven’t seen any birds come to it yet. I tried resting the bird feeder on the ledge of our deck but no dice. I’ve had bunches of bird feeders but squirrels eat the food. I’ve tried those bird feeders that squirrels ‘can’t get on’ but they still do!!! What should I do?
